PVC:
- PVC is the abbreviation of polyvinylchloride, a plastic. It is one of the most used compounds in the world with virtually uncountable applications. Plastic is a synthetic composite that has two major classes known as thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins. Thermosetting resin is hardened by the application of heat. It does not become malleable after manufacture. Thermoplastic resins on the other hand can be softened into malleable forms such as PVC and polythene.

PET Sheets:
- PET (also abbreviated PETE) is short for polyethylene terephthalate, the chemical name for polyester.
- PET is a clear, strong, and lightweight plastic that is widely used for packaging foods and beverages, especially convenience-sized soft drinks, juices and water. Virtually all single-serving and 2-liter bottles of carbonated soft drinks and water sold in the U.S. are made from PET.
- Because of PET’s unique properties, it is rapidly becoming the world’s preferred packaging material for foods and beverages. Like glass, it is a very strong and inert material that does not react with foods, is resistant to attack by micro-organisms, and will not biologically degrade. But unlike glass, PET is extremely lightweight, easy and efficient to transport, and shatterproof.

PET can be commercially recycled by thorough washing and re-melting, or by chemically breaking it down to its component materials to make new PET resin. HOT FOILING

METALIZED PAPER
- Metalized paper is a product that is covered with a coating of aluminium either with gloss or matte finish to provide decorative and shielding properties to a product.

COLD FOILING COMING SOON
- During the cold foil process, a UV-curable adhesive is printed on the substrate in the shape of the design that is to be foiled. The foil is then pressed onto the material and is stripped away where no adhesive was printed. After a quick run under the UV light, the product is finished.
- Cold foil runs fast on press and precise registration is able to be achieved. It is available in a wide variety of patterns and colors, and no tooling is required for the process. Cold foil can be overprinted easily and may be utilized on heat sensitive materials. Cold foil is not a replacement for hot stamp, but rather another option for foiling on a package.
- In the first printing unit an adhesive is applied to the substrate in the design that is to be foiled. In the pressure nip of the following printing unit the cold foil web is in contact with the substrate and the metallic layer of the cold foil is transferred to the areas of the substrate where the adhesive has been applied before. The areas without glue will not be metallized and the metallic layer will remain on the polyester backing film.
